Day 1 Arrival – Algiers

Arrival in Algiers, and explore the city.

Day 2  Djanet – Camp

Early morning flight to Djanet. Arrival at the airport towards the plate Ajjers. You stop at Akba Taffelelet, the starting point of your hike and meeting with your mule team (30 min drive).

Day 3 Akba Taffelelet – Tamrit –  5 to 6 Hours Trak – Camp

Early in the morning, you take the neck Taffelelet to get on the board. Setting up camp at noon and in the afternoon, you walk through the forest of stone Tamrit, a dazzling site where you sneak in late narrow corridors of sand, bordered by high sandstone columns of 10-20 meter high. Rock paintings and engravings. The Grand Canyon and the valley Tamrit cypress millennia are amazing experience of a time when the Tassili enjoyed a Mediterranean climate.

Day 4 Tamrit – Itinen Tin – Tin Tazaref – 5 to 6 Hours Trek – Camp

This plateau is a museum and navigating this chaotic maze, through these stone cities, from painting to painting. Stroll among the needles Tin Itinen and sites of rock paintings depicting hunting scenes, herds of cows and various gods.

Day 5 Tin Tazaref – Sefar –  Sefar White – 5 to 6 Hours Trek – Camp

Visit the famous white Sefar site. It is a maze of strange sandstone towers sculpted by the wind, forest of stone of immense wealth. All periods of artistic expression Tassili men meet there. Cattle, sheep, antelopes and especially human or divine representations are multiplying on the walls. We will focus in particular on the famous frescoes of the “god of prayerful.”

Day 6 Segfar Black –  Tirresboutine – 5 to 6 Hours Trek – Camp

In the morning, visit the famous site of Sefar black and discovery of the great Orantes. It is found here that few works of Bovidian time. The majority of paintings encountered evokes an earlier period, that “men round head.” A very characteristic style of this place. We will continue to Tiressouten for overnight camping.

Day 7  Tirresoutine – Aladoumen – 5 to 6 Hours Trek – Camp

Crossing the plateau of Aladoumen. Along the way you learn a few new paintings and can find the same as that used bovidiens pastors to achieve their frescoes ocher shale.

Day 8  Aladoumen – Djabaren – 5 to 6 Hours Trek – Camp

Then you reach Djabaren, renowned as one of the richest archaeological sanctuaries in the world. More than 5,000 paintings and engravings let imagine the presence of more than twelve different civilizations, and the whole history of the prehistoric Sahara.

Day 9: Djabaren – Djanet – Algiers – 5 to 6 Hours Trek – Plane

Explore Djabaren, and drive to Djnet fort he domestic flight to Algiers.

Day 10 Algiers – Departure

Explore Algiers, and transfer to the airport.
